Glasgow Clan Support Poppyscotland and Place2Be for Remembrance Game
This Friday 14 November, Your Glasgow Clan take to the ice for the Remembrance Game against the Cardiff Devils – a night that combines hockey, community, and giving back. This season, we are proud to support two incredible charities: Poppyscotland and Place2Be, chosen by HMS Glasgow Ship’s Company.
Poppyscotland provides essential support to Scotland’s Armed Forces community – serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Their services include financial assistance, housing support, mental health guidance, and practical advice to those who have served.
Place2Be works in schools across the UK to support children and young people’s mental health. From one-to-one counselling to whole-school initiatives, they ensure young people have the tools, guidance, and support to build emotional resilience.
During the Remembrance Game, the Clan will wear special edition jerseys designed in collaboration with HMS Glasgow. 100% of the profits from the post-game jersey auction will be donated to Poppyscotland and Place2Be, helping these two charities continue their vital work in supporting both our Armed Forces and the next generation.
Fans are encouraged to attend, bid in the jersey auction, and take part in a meaningful evening that honours service, community, and wellbeing.
