Team Sheet for Tonight’s Pre-Season Matchup vs Herlev Eagles
Glasgow Clan are set for another exciting night of pre-season hockey as they welcome Danish side Herlev Eagles to Braehead Arena this evening. With preparations for the 2025/26 season well underway, Head Coach Corey Neilson has confirmed tonight’s lineup.
Between the pipes, #74 Sami Aittokallio will get the start in goal for the first time in Purple.
The Clan’s top line will be spearheaded by trio #71 Schwartz, #13 Heard and #19 Roy leading the offensive charge. On the blue line, they will be supported by #73 Hazeldine and #55 McKay, offering a solid combination of puck movement and defensive strength.
This evening’s roster also highlights the depth and development within the organisation. Clan will once again ice a number of two-way players, providing them with valuable Elite League experience. #21 Torran Anderson (Solway Sharks – NIHL), #88 Kyle Carruth (Solway Sharks – NIHL) and #39 Daniel McGowan (Paisley Pirates – SNL) are all joining the preseason team sheet.
In addition, two promising young prospects will take to the ice, with #85 Ollie King and #22 Bailey Yates included in the lineup. Both players have impressed throughout the training camp and will be looking to make their mark in front of the home crowd.
Tonight’s matchup against Herlev Eagles provides the first key test for the Clan as preparations continue ahead of the 2025/26 Elite League campaign, giving fans an early look at how the team is shaping up.
Face-off at Braehead Arena is at 7:30pm.
