NEWS: Morgan anticipates tough Blaze test
sponsored Glasgow Clan head coach Jason Morgan knows his team are in for a stern test this weekend against Coventry Blaze.
Danny Stewart’s side come to Braehead Arena on Saturday (face off 7:00pm) as part of a double header that concludes at the Skydome on Sunday.
But after a recent spell where both teams have enjoyed good results of late, Clan’s coach is fully aware of the task he and his players have in their hands.
“We have a tough weekend ahead with Coventry, who have been playing some really good hockey of late, winning their last five league games and the cup draw against Belfast,” he said.

“With that said, we’re playing well ourselves and coming off a huge knockout game in Cardiff to advance to the semi finals.
“We’re getting some big performances from a lot of different guys and our penalty kill and willingness to sacrifice is coming in the right direction.
“We’re still faced with adversity with guys out right now and we’d had to make some adjustments as we go, but we’re ready for the challenge.
“The standings are very tight and Coventry have a game in hand plus are two points behind us so it’s a big weekend for both teams.
“We’re just looking to keep building on our game. It’s definitely going the right way for us and we’re looking for a big result on Saturday.”
