MAKING YOU SAFE: New measures – Entering the Arena

December 17, 2021

To gain entry to a Glasgow Clan home game, everyone will now be asked to show proof of your vaccine status via the NHS Scotland COVID Status App or a printed paper copy, or have a negative test (PCR or LFT) result carried out in the previous 36 hours or proof of a natural immunity by way of a positive PCR test up to 180 days ago. Everyone entering Braehead Arena will be asked to provide one of the above.

The following exemptions apply:

  • Under 18’s
  • Participants in vaccine trials
  • People who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (you will be asked to provide a medical exemption certificate).
  • Visitors from the rest of the UK – and the broader Common Travel Area (including Republic of Ireland) – will be able to use their existing Covid Status apps and paper-based certificates to gain entry to relevant venues in Scotland.
  • Visitors from outside of the UK – will be able to use their existing Covid Status apps and paper-based certificates from their country of origin.

Checks will be in place THIS SUNDAY, so please be prepared to present your NHS Scotland Covid Status App or printed paper copy, proof of a negative (PCR or LFT) test in the past 36 hours or proof of a positive PCR test in the past 180 days on request.

Doors open at Braehead Arena ON SUNDAY at 2:30pm, so please arrive with plenty of time to minimise potential delays in entering the venue. For more information click HERE.

We have been incredibly grateful for the support shown and we hope that fans understand the need for these changes, we want hockey to continue at Braehead – play your part and wear a mask.
