Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce that forward Mac Howlett has been selected in Slava Koulikov’s Great Britain Under-20s squad for January’s IIHF World Championship Division II Group A in Tallinn.
GB meet hosts Estonia, as well as Korea, Lithuania, Romania and Spain from 13th to 19th January 2019 at the Tondiraba Ice Hall.
Britain start the six-team tournament against Lithuania on 13th January and then play Korea the following day.
Solway Sharks netminder Jordan McLaughlin also made the squad as did former Clan forward Jordan Buesa.
Solway Sharks defenceman Lewis Baldwin who iced for Clan in pre-season has made it on to the reserves list.
The under 20’s squad recently announced that former Clan assistant coach Richard Hartmann has joined their coaching team ahead of the World Championships.
