STATEMENT: Antti Karjalainen

The Glasgow Clan would like to make a clarification in relation to comments made in a post game interview following Sunday’s game versus the Cardiff Devils regarding netminder Antti Karjalainen.

Karjalainen passed a precautionary concussion test prior to the game and was confirmed to be fit and ready to play on the completion of pre-game warm-up. Had Karjalainen not passed this precautionary concussion test, he would not have been cleared to play.

Player safety and welfare is always a priority for the Glasgow Clan.
