Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the signing of Great Britain Under 20’s forward Chad Smith.

The 20-year-old Scot joins from the Clan’s EIHL rivals, the Fife Flyers, where he has spent the previous four season’s.

A product of the Kirkcaldy junior development programme, Smith has also played for the Kirkcaldy Kestrels in the Scottish National League.

Clan head coach Zack Fitzgerald is delighted to add another up and coming home grown talent to his line-up.

“Chad is another young Scottish player with great potential” commented Fitzgerald. “We are in a position to give him an opportunity, he is eager and has a great head on his shoulders.

“He has been training with us this week and is looking forward to getting him some action this weekend.

“He skates well, see’s the game well, a good passer and a hard worker – he will fit into this Clan team well!”
