The traditional day of rest applies here for a Sunday and after a busy week, we’ve only got the one game to bring you from the archives.

We’re going back to 2015 for this one when Edinburgh Capitals made their way to Glasgow for a Saturday night get-together.

2015: Braehead Clan 5 Edinburgh Capitals 1 (Elite League/Challenge Cup)

Riley Emmerson brought his Capitals team along the M8 on the hunt for two points and under their coach, looked a pretty solid unit.

His predecessor, Richard Hartmann, was on the Clan bench now as assistant to Ryan Finnerty and helped to mastermind this one-sided victory over his old team.

It was the Capitals who got the first goal as Nate Fleming scored from Emmerson’s assist to put them in front.

Stefan Meyer pulled Clan level on the powerplay, but they never looked back as they took the leaf in the second period through Marcus Gotz.

The home team kicked on in the third and three goals in the final 20 minutes killed the game off as Alex Leavitt, Chris Briton and Lee Esders all found the target.
