The Glasgow Clan can confirm that American forward Nolan LaPorte will not be returning to the club for the 2020/21 season.
The 28-year-old forward has opted to return to the ECHL for the forthcoming season.
LaPorte who last summer joined the Clan from the Atlanta Gladiators in the USA, went on to become a firm fan favourite scoring 16 goals and assisting on 23 others during his 47 games with the club.
Clan Chief Operating Officer Gareth Chalmers commented: “With all the uncertainty at the moment, Nolan has opted to remain at home this season which I can totally respect.
“I’ve explained to Nolan that we would have been very interested in having him back at the club and we’ve left the door open for a return in the future.
“I’d like to thank Nolan for all his efforts during the 2019/20 season and wish him all the best with his new club in the ECHL.”
