The Glasgow Clan would like to say a huge thank you to the Official Supporters Club (OSC) for sponsoring the team’s stay in Carlisle on Saturday night.

Following the Challenge Cup group game against the Belfast Giants, the Clan travelled to Carlisle where the team stayed overnight rather than heading back to Glasgow.

It obviously helped massively, as Pete Russell’s men then travelled to Altrincham on Sunday where they came away with an impressive 4-2 EIHL road win – and two important points!

Clan Chief Operating Officer Gareth Chalmers commented: “We would like to thank the OSC and their members for their support, enabling us to stay in Carlisle on Saturday night.

“I’ve said this numerous times and I can’t reiterate this enough, the OSC are fantastic for this club and are without a doubt the best supporters club in the country.

“The hard work of the committee is outstanding, a lot of which goes unseen, however they are imperative to the day to day operations and success of the Clan.

“If you haven’t joined the OSC yet, went to one of their superb events, or joined them at an away game, please give them a go.

“Every single penny that the OSC raise, goes towards supporting Pete and the team in progressing the club further on the ice.”
