After completing his studies, Stenton finally committed himself to the Clan this summer, after being a two-way player with Solway Sharks in the last two seasons.
Coach Malcolm Cameron was impressed with the 20-year-old Scot as he fought his way into the Clan team last season and made a starting defensive berth his own.
