McLean made the move to Glasgow Clan in November 2022, joining from ECHL side Orlando Solar Bears, where he had been for the previous 12 months.
The American D-man, who also played for Knoxville Ice Bears in the SHL as well as spells in the NCAA and NAHL, is also partial to a shot from the blue line.
